Fear not, for I am with you;
Be not dismayed, for I am your God.
I will strengthen you,
Yes, I will help you,
I will uphold you with My righteous right hand.

– Isaiah 41:10

I have never cried so much over the death of someone I never knew.

So many people, more eloquent than me, have said and are still saying so much about the loss of Charlie Kirk, and many of them knew him personally.

Although I didn’t watch all his videos, I enjoyed the ones I did.

He was always polite, courteous and he listened.

Not that long ago, we were all able to have discussions about anything and everything, with those we disagreed with.

Sometimes discussions, debates would get heated, but the only things that would fly would be angry or annoyed words, and that would be that.

But now it’s become a case of ‘my way or the highway’.

‘Hate speech’ has become synonymous with not agreeing with the other side.

Charlie Kirk invited, in his own words, “challenging conversations… it’s so important to find our disagreements, respectfully, because when people stop talking, that’s when violence happens.

He believed that talking encourages both sides to see one another as fellow human beings.

Not talking makes it so much easier to label the other side as hateful monsters… and “violence happens”.

What has shocked me the most, sickened me to the depths of my soul, is the ghoulish displays from the ‘left’.

Celebrating a young man’s murder.

Celebrating a young woman being left a widow, two little children – his three-year-old daughter and one-year-old son – left fatherless.

Calling for the murder of even more people they don’t agree with.

Saying, he deserved it; deserved to be murdered simply for voicing his opinions?

What is wrong with these people?

I used to think them smooth-brained, but, after this, the only that makes sense to me is, they’re demonically possessed.

I know I should pray for them but… at the moment, it’s very hard.

I pray for Charlie Kirk’s wife, Erika, for their dear little children… watching the joy with which his daughter runs to him, his delight as he holds his arms out to her, is heartbreaking; that child will never run into her father’s arms again; his little boy will never know his dad.

I pray for Charlie Kirk’s parents, all his family, and I pray for his friends and colleagues.

And I pray that God has mercy on all of us.

Jesus defeated death so you can live.” – Charlie Kirk, 7th of September 2025 on ‘X’.
