Favourites on Friday - Blossoming Spring
I was going to wax lyrical about the solar eclipse, which was this morning, but, despite the forecast for a glorious sunny day, we ended up with wall-to-wall cloud cover instead. Ah well, thank heavens for technology – we watched it on tv instead :) And a spectacular sight it was.
A couple of days ago, I went for a walk around the block, remembering my camera this time, and took some pictures of the beautiful blossoms …
At the top of our road ...
... the next road along, at the end of which is the small park that leads to the beautiful green area with the lake ...
... halfway down that road
... down the next parallel road
... near home again.
A dear friend described blossoms like this as an explosion in time … I’m inclined to agree …
