Artist-Illustrators - Daniel Kamarudin and Jeffrey Thomas

‘Death’ ~ Daniel Kamarudin

One of the things I love about spending time on Pinterest is discovering artists I’ve never heard of before.

Jeffery Thomas is a character designer/story artist. It was his imaginative take on Disney princesses, titled ‘Twisted Princess’, that caught my eye.

There are more twisted princesses on his DeviantArt.

He also did the cover art for Serena Valentino’s Disney Villains book series. I’ve seen these books on bookshop shelves but haven’t read them.

As with Thomas, I saw Daniel Kamarudin’s art first before finding out more about him. How exciting to discover he’s Malaysian!

What grabbed my attention on Pinterest was his take on the Horsemen of the Apocalypse and their horses:
