Journals Available to Buy on Amazon

‘Castles’ journal cover

As I’m a firm believer that one cannot have too many journals, I’ve made a series of journals using my own photos, which can be bought on Amazon.

Each journal has 150 pages of mainly lined and some blank pages, and measures 6” x 9”.

So far, there are 4 available.

The ‘Castles Journal’, pictured above, features castles of Britain.

The ‘Trees Journal’ has – wait for it… photos of trees! *Heh* Couldn’t resist.

The next two feature photos I took at the British Museum, the ‘Parthenon Horsemen’ and ‘Ancient Egypt’.

The original photos are in colour, but to keep costs down, I’ve changed them to black and white.

One of the reasons I wanted to make journals available on Amazon is, what seems to be, a lack of affordable journals that aren’t overtly feminine and pretty, and journals that feature historical images.

Also, it’s a good way of sharing the photos I’ve taken over the years.

Each journal has 7 images plus 2 each of those images overlaid with another one.

These are the castle images – Arundel, Chepstow, Kenilworth, Bodiam, Farleigh Hungerford, Cardiff and Rochester.

I’ve overlaid them with a script image:

For something different, the images of the trees are in ovals…

And they’re overlaid with a crackle effect:

The Parthenon Horsemen have a ‘reflected’ effect:

And they’re overlaid with Greek lettering:

The Ancient Egypt images are statues of Sekhmet, Amenhotep III, Hathor, Ram of Amun with King Taharqa, a close-up of Sekhmet, another statue of Amenhotep III and the Gayer-Anderson Cat.

Overlaying them is part of the Rosetta Stone:

If you’re after affordable journals, I hope you’ll check these out.
